- Session data: bookings, attendance, lesson history, messages between you, your tutor, and your learning consultant, and recordings of demos and sessions where applicable.
- Payment data: processed by our payment partners. We retain only the minimum needed for receipts, refunds, and tax/compliance.
- Usage data: device, browser, IP, and platform interactions used to keep the service secure and improve it.
2. How we use information
- To match families with screened tutors and to coordinate sessions.
- To process payments, send receipts, and prevent fraud.
- To send service messages (booking confirmations, reminders, account alerts).
- To improve the platform, troubleshoot issues, and keep it secure.

3. Session recording and social media
Kiwi Classes may record demos, trial lessons, and tutoring sessions (including audio, video, and on‑screen content) for legitimate business purposes such as quality assurance, tutor training, dispute resolution, and platform safety.
We may also create short, edited clips from recorded sessions and share them on Kiwi Classes' website, social media channels, and other marketing materials to showcase our teaching approach and engage prospective families and tutors.
Where practicable, clips are edited to focus on instructional content and limit the inclusion of personal identifiers. If you do not wish your session or likeness to be used in promotional materials, you may request an opt‑out in writing before your session or within a reasonable time afterward by contacting us at the address below.
By booking, attending, or conducting a demo or tutoring session through Kiwi Classes, you acknowledge that sessions may be recorded as described above and you agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms & Conditions, including the use of session content as outlined in this section.
4. Sharing
We share information only with: (a) the tutor and learning consultant assigned to your sessions, (b) infrastructure and payment providers acting under contract on our behalf, and (c) authorities when required by law. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Children's privacy
Kiwi Classes serves K‑12 learners. Accounts must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian. We collect only the information necessary to deliver lessons and coordinate sessions, and we do not use children's data for advertising.
6. Security
We use industry‑standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, audit logging) to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access.
7. Your choices and rights
