Marianne

Hi everyone! I’m Teacher Marianne, an online ESL teacher from the Philippines. I’ve been teaching English for more than ten years, and during that time I’ve had the chance to work with kids, teens, and adults—from beginners all the way to advanced learners. I really enjoy helping my students build confidence and find joy in learning English. In my classes, I like to keep things simple, supportive, and fun. We’ll practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing—and I’ll always encourage you to express yourself and not worry about making mistakes. That’s how we learn! When I’m not teaching, I love traveling and trying out new coffee shops. I also enjoy meeting people from different places and learning about their cultures—which is one of the best parts of being an English teacher! I’m really looking forward to getting to know all of you and learning together. See you in class!
